The #MeWithTrump movement is now taking aim at President Donald Trump.
#MeToo activists are demanding an apology from @POTUS for his sexual misconduct and harassment allegations against several women, according to an exclusive report.
“MeToo” activist Amber Lyon said in a video posted on Instagram, saying the movement is demanding an official apology from the President.
“This is a real, real issue,” Lyon said.
“We have to be willing to be accountable to this administration.”
The group’s #MeToMe campaign aims to highlight the alleged misconduct of the President by highlighting examples of the incidents, such as Trump’s alleged “sexual harassment” of former Apprentice contestant Jill Harth, who claimed he kissed her on the lips at a golf course event in 2006.
“When you are accused of sexual harassment, you have to admit that you were wrong and apologize,” Lyon told MSNBC.
Lyon said that Trump’s accusers deserve to be heard.
“I think it is time to give people who have been victimized an opportunity to talk about it, and to get justice for the victims,” Lyon added.
“People deserve to know that their abuser was held accountable for his actions, and they deserve to feel that justice was done.”
The #MeWithoutTrump movement has garnered attention for highlighting the alleged sexual misconduct of former President Bill Clinton and former President Donald J. Trump, who have both been accused of assault.
The group also recently held a rally in Washington D.C. calling for an end to sexual harassment by former president Bill Clinton.
