Montrealers are in for a wild fall this weekend as designers, fashion icons and fashion-minded enthusiasts gather for a Fall Fashion Week at Montreal’s iconic Jean Paul Gaultier hotel.
The annual event, which has become a fixture in the city’s tourist-centric calendar, has been held since 2009 and attracts thousands of visitors each year.
“It’s such a big event,” said Yolanda, who is from France and lives in Montreal.
“I’m not sure how we’ll get to see the city again, but I’m sure it’ll be very special.”
In the past, the event has been a celebration of the city and its vibrant culture.
But with so many major events in Montreal this year, including a concert by country superstar Taylor Swift and a parade featuring celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, the city is looking forward to a much-anticipated fall style show.
“It’s going to be a beautiful time of year for the city,” said Jean-Paul Gaultiers head of marketing and marketing operations.
“The weather’s perfect for the fashion shows and we want to have a fantastic fashion show.”
The Fall Fashion Show at Jean Paul is scheduled to take place Saturday (October 16) at 9 a.m.
(ET) and Sunday (October 17) at 3 p.m., with the last one being held on September 21.
The event will include fashion designers, celebrities and fashion stylists from around the world, and it’s a perfect opportunity to catch up on your fall fashion look.
